It uses a friendcode (hence one friendcode per system) which means all wi-fi games will work via the system friendcode rather than one friendcode per game. I don’t see it to be a big problem.

MGS4 isn’t on the Wii ’casue it isn’t powerful enough.
The PS3 eats the Wii in terms of hardware, I mean, you’d never get something as amazing a LBP2 on the wii.

Yeah I lost entire safe files as well from sending it off to Nintendo. That is just a risk I am willing to take when comparing the price of repair versus purchasing a new console.

Sadly we don’t have such services available for Wii in the UK. I know LoveFilm has had talks with Nintendo about hosting a similar service on Wii in UK but there is no news on that as of yet. I know SKY will be releasing 3D content for the 3DS but I’m not sure how that system will work.
